A Service Call That Became Something More

What started as a routine service call turned into a full system replacement, and one of the more meaningful jobs we've done this year.

We were called out to look at a unit for a 99 year old homeowner. When we got there, the system was rusted through and in rough shape, well past the point where a repair would hold. Given her age and the risk of extended heat exposure, we treated this as an emergency situation and moved to get a new system in the next day.

Before starting the installation, we notified the city mechanical inspector, as required for work of this kind. The permit was pulled following the install and was approved shortly after, keeping everything fully compliant from start to finish.

Within 24 hours, she had a brand new split system in place, one unit in the attic, the other outside, and cool air running through her home again.

This is exactly why we do what we do. Sometimes a job isn't just about fixing equipment. It's about making sure someone isn't sitting in the heat longer than they have to, especially the people who need that peace of mind the most, all while doing it the right way.

She's up and running, comfortable, and taken care of.
